"Gender & orthostatic intolerance: mechanisms and therapy"
The purpose of this study is to perform work to know whether gender-specific factors such as the menstrual cycle or physical factors influencing cardiac size and function are among the determinants for orthostatic intolerance in young women, and whether exercise training can be considered an effective non-pharmacologic measure for patients to improve their orthostatic tolerance.

"Vasoconstrictor Reserve: A Mechanism for Individual Variability in Orthostatic Intolerance?"
The purpose of this research is to perform work to test the hypotheses that each human individual has a finite range of vasoconstrictor reserve that can be mediated by adrenergic activity, and a limited vasoconstrictor reserve is related to orthostatic intolerance both under normovolemia and hypovolemia conditions.
